studied directing at the National University of Theatre and Cinema in Bucharest. She is one of the initiators of dramAcum. In 2012 she staged the performance The Tiger of Sibiu produced by dramAcum at the Comedy Theatre in Bucharest. In 2011 she realised the X mm out of Y km project based on authentic Securitate Police files (Paintbrush Factory, Cluj 2011), produced by ColectivA. In 2010 she staged Sold Out at Münchner Kammerspiele and together with the dramAcum group she realised the project Rosia Montana – Pe linie fizica si pe linie politica at the Hungarian State Theatre in Cluj. The production 20/20 is also an independent theatre project which was created in Targu Mures, Romania and deals with ethnic conflicts between Hungarians and Romanians. It was presented at the festivals Dialog Wroclaw, New Drama Budapest and London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT). Her plays Kebab (mady-baby.edu), Stop the Tempo, Asparagus, Fastforwardrewind have been translated, published and staged in many countries of Europe and Asia. The play Kebab (mady-baby.edu) was staged at the Royal Court Theatre, London (2007), at the Münchner Kammerspiele (2007) and the Schaubühne, Berlin (2007). Her projects are usually independent productions and have been presented at many European festivals (e. g. Neue Stücke aus Europa in Wiesbaden, New Drama Festival in Bratislava, Festival Kontakt Toru¢ and International Theatre Festival Divadelná Nitra).
