studied at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and later theatre direction at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He is the founder of the Ka Theatre in Tvrdošín, was active in the ensemble Once Upon a Time in Oravská Polhora, cooperated with the Trnava Disk Theatre. Currently he is a member of the SkRAT Theatre. He also published a book of short stories Homo yoga, which earned him the Prize of Ivan Krasko. Twice he became a laureate of the Alfréd Radok Prize for the best Czech and Slovak drama text: 1st Prize for …stroke a dog…, 2002; 3rd Prize for Silhouette in b minor, 2004. Theatre productions which he authored and directed include An Epoch of a Genius by Schulz (Theatre Disk, 2001); I Needn’t Do Much, I Just Need to Do it Well… (SkRAT Theatre, 2006); Dead Souls (Pictures of a New World) (SkRAT Theatre, 2010) and others. His direction of Buggers and Suckers (SkRAT Theatre, 2011) was successfully performed at the festival Neue Stücke aus Europa in Wiesbaden in 2012. He is the author of radio plays Picture of a Killed Self-Murderer (2009) and Recordings (2011).
